Hand thrown from translucent porcelain and then carefully incised to set in the circles of blue underglaze. After this cup was glazed and fired, 22k gold luster was applied and the cup was fired again to mature the luster and bond it to the glaze. When lit from above/inside, the cup will glow. This cup would also make a great tea light holder.

Glaze is non-toxic, lead-free, and food safe. As this cup is more fragile than many of our items, we recommend hand washing. Also, due to having gold, this cup is NOT microwave safe.
